This is a Simulated Prismatic letter cut from 3/4"-thick Solid PVC. You will notice that the angle of bevel remains constant here, but that makes the center ridge undulate up and down depending on the thickness of the stroke. The end result is still very attractive. Also, these letters can easily be made on a standard CNC machine so they are much less expensive than the Hand-Made True Prismatic letters.
